One of our most popular workshops returns this year with a morning in Trélex exploring the potential of containers in the garden. With so many of us in temporary accommodation planting up pots and containers is a great solution for bringing colour and interest to balconies and terraces especially as the warmer season approaches. This workshop will examine the different planting possibilities for summer containers where floral colour and plant structure come into their own. Learn about the most practical containers for your individual needs, discover how best to keep them watered in the heat and create a little something interesting for your terrace this year.
With a fantastic array of summer bedding plants and perennials, we look forward to returning to R. Jaggi in Trélex for this workshop. Students will be surrounded by a vast selection of choice and will create their own summer container to take home.
As at all of our events a little background preparation is essential. Students will be requested to bring A4 size printed photographs of their existing terraces and balconies along with their areas of concern to facilitate a more personal experience.
This workshop will be held in a covered and sheltered outdoor space, as it will take place regardless of the weather conditions we strongly recommend weather appropriate clothing.
A mid-morning snack will be provided.
R. Jaggi have kindly offered a 10% reduction on any additional plants purchased by participants on the morning of the course.
