Have you always wanted to work in your garden but been daunted by the sheer scale of your space? Do you find trees, bulbs, shrubs and flowers a mystery? Have you been disappointed with the results in your vegetable plot? Would you like to improve your skills, knowledge and success in your garden?

Whether you are a complete novice who wants to get their fingers “green” for the first time, or an already confident horticulturist wishing to broaden your skills and knowledge, and get better results, the Swiss Gardening School is for you. By bringing together theory and practice for garden design, care and repair, we will give you the tools to make your garden plans a reality.

We aim to provide enjoyable and easy-to-follow introductory courses for gardening novices, as well as advanced courses for the more experienced amateurs who would like to expand their knowledge. Course size is small, with approximately eight participants, enabling us to combine group work with individual attention. All instruction is in English.

We've had a very busy 2019.

Hester's book, Gardens Switzerland was published in April by Bergli Books. It features 52 gardens open to the public across Switzerland. Hester continues to be busy with her garden design company HM Garden Design and her media presence on WRS.

Tara has launched a new activity through her blog My swiss garden, creating seasonal pots and containers using upcycled and recycled containers. She continues to advise gardeners on a personal level.

Exciting new courses are coming in 2020 and we look forward to sharing new dates after the holidays.
